On Saturday, May 24, 2025, the Education and Reasoning Division of the Chemistry Student Association (HIMAKI) conducted an Interdepartmental Study Visit activity together with the Science Department of the Nanotechnology Engineering Student Association (HIMANO) at Airlangga University. The event took place in Room 6.01 of the Nano Building on Campus C, from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM WIB, and was attended by the academic executives from both associations.
The event began with opening remarks from each representative, followed by a presentation of work programs. Both departments shared insights on the implementation of flagship programs, activity management methods, and approaches to attracting and facilitating participants. The discussion was active and open, serving as a platform for inspiring idea exchange.
The event continued with a question-and-answer session and a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) addressing internal organizational dynamics, such as member engagement, teamwork effectiveness, and strategies to maintain a collaborative spirit in leadership. A warm and friendly atmosphere was created through ice-breaking activities and casual conversations between both parties.
Through this activity, a collaborative learning space filled with inspiration and synergy was created. The benchmarking study not only served as a platform for exchanging program information but also built a collaborative network that strengthens shared goals, such as improving education quality (SDG 4), inclusive growth (SDG 8), and strengthening institutional partnerships (SDG 17).
