The Undergraduate Chemistry Study Program of Universitas Airlangga is committed to delivering excellence in higher education through the advancement of chemical sciences, grounded in academic ethics and oriented toward addressing challenges in society and industry. Through an adaptive curriculum, research- and project-based learning approaches, and the support of competent human resources, the program strives to produce graduates with strong character, national and international competitiveness, and the capacity to make meaningful contributions to sustainable development.
The program continuously fosters synergy among education, research, and community engagement by establishing collaborations with various strategic partners at both national and global levels. This effort forms an integral part of our commitment to creating an innovative, inclusive, and forward-looking academic ecosystem that remains relevant to the evolving landscape of science and technology.

Why Choose the Undergraduate Chemistry Program at Airlangga University
This study program is supported by reliable and professional academic and educational staff, the majority of whom hold doctoral degrees from reputable national and international universities. The implementation of the Tri Dharma activities by the academic and educational staff, both at the national and international levels, has frequently resulted in various achievements for the department and serves as a tangible contribution to the advancement of global science and technology.
The study program is highly innovative and professional in the field of education, as evidenced by the accreditation of the Undergraduate Chemistry Program at Airlangga University by LAMSAMA(Nasional), AUN (regional ASEAN), and ASIIN dan RSC (Internasional).
This study program is equipped with comprehensive facilities and infrastructure to support the teaching–learning process and student research activities, enabling students to complete their studies in a timely manner while ensuring high educational quality and graduate professionalism.
This study program encourages students to actively engage in activities at both national and international levels through the provision of various forms of support and scholarships. Such initiatives foster the mindset and self-confidence of graduates, enabling them to compete more effectively in the professional workforce.

RESEARCH
Jurnal Kimia Riset (Scientific Journal of Chemical Research) is a scholarly journal that publishes a collection of research articles and original findings in the field of chemistry, as well as reviews on the development of chemical sciences. The journal is intended to disseminate research outcomes in areas including Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Biochemistry, and related fields, with a focus on addressing problems in the medical, pharmaceutical, environmental, and agricultural sectors through chemical approaches.
