Chemistry Bachelor Degree Program Profile

The bachelor’s degree program of chemistry has been accredited A by BAN-PT for 2 consecutive periods and in 2015 obtained an AUN Certificate. The bachelor’s degree program in chemistry has five fields of interest, namely analytical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry and physical chemistry.

Vision

To become an innovative and leading bachelor’s degree program in chemistry that pioneers the development of chemistry at the national and international levels through education, research, and service to the community in a professional, quality, and morality-based manner. The vision of the bachelor’s degree program in chemistry is based on the vision of Airlangga University and the vision of the faculty of science and technology.

Mission
  1. Organizing quality chemistry education and teaching based on morality, science and technology development, national and international job market needs, soft skills, and entrepreneurship.
  2. Carrying out innovative research with an integrative approach in the field of chemistry based on the development of science and technology.
  3. Dedicating expertise in the field of chemistry and its application for community empowerment.
  4. Organizing organizational and institutional management directed towards good university governance with the principles of accountability, transparency, and checks and balances.
  5. Building a network of cooperation with stakeholders both industry and other institutions at the national and international levels in the fields of education, research and community service for program sustainability.
